Health Check Up

About 70 percent of the Indian population lives in rural areas. The majority of this population comes from the lower economic stratum, where along with illiteracy they also face health related problems. Due to their economic status, the rural population is unable to avail of basic medical facilities. To help address the health care needs of this population, Mahindra Insurance Brokers Ltd., along with its associated insurance companies, conducts various Health Check-Up Camps.

Major health related activity conducted last year:

On 13th & 14th February 2009, a team from Mahindra Insurance Brokers in Pune conducted a Free Health Check-Up for its customers. More than 113 customers visited over the two days of the Check-Up. A general health check-up like Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar Level and BMI (Body Mass Index) Calculation were conducted for them.
